ABOUT THIS BUILDING

Founded in 1875 as the first Polish parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, this church was constructed in 1892 with a Polish Cathedral style and Romanesque/Baroque influences. It has survived many obstacles over the decades including the St. Patrick’s Day Flood in 1936. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
