Explore the new facility and learn about how the space was adapted for radio, education, live music, and podcasting. Between the hours of 10 am – noon you will have an opportunity to observe and take part in a live radio broadcast!

ABOUT THIS BUILDING

The SLB Youth Media Center is an independent nonprofit on the campus of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Our brand new, state-of-the-art Youth Media Center is housed in what was once the Buhl Planetarium and Institute of Popular Science, built in 1939 and the predecessor to the Carnegie Science Center.
