ABOUT THIS BUILDING

The story of the Sunseri family’s American dream started in 1902 as brothers Augustino, Salvatore and Michael Sunseri formed what is now known as the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company. They started out simply manufacturing pasta but when the second generation (Robert and Salvatore) took the reigns in the late 1940s they saw a whole new vision and begin importing and selling classic Italian goods. Now a third generation of Sunseris are at the wheel modernizing the store and selling over 5,000 specialty products. But no matter how fast the times change, family remains at the heart of this Pittsburgh business.
