Sewickley is a Native American word meaning “sweet water”. Join DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh as we explore this sweet suburb of Allegheny County, just upstream of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River.
This tour will provide insight into the past, present and future of Sewickley Village. As a walking community, it is perfect for a stroll through some of the area’s iconic fixtures: a landmark clock, the former homes of prominent architects, an arthouse film theater, and more!
