Explore the world of Pittsburgh’s Jewish numbers syndicate with tour host and storyteller, David Rotenstein.
Visit the fashionable homes where numbers barons lived and plied their trade. Walk along the streets and visit sites raided by federal and local law enforcement between the 1930s and 1960s. See the popular clubs and eateries where the City’s top echelon of numbers bankers socialized, strategized, and gambled themselves!
In addition to learning about the history of the Jewish numbers syndicate, this will also be an opportunity to view the cultural and architectural history of one of Pittsburgh’s unique neighborhoods.
