Tour Dates:

Saturday, August 27, 2022

10:00am – 11:30am

Sunday, August 28, 2022

10:00am – 11:30am

Join Morton Brown, a local public art aficionado, who will take us on a walking tour of one of our most striking City parks, exploring its history, public art, and amenities.

Morton has many interesting, first-hand stories to share regarding the restoration of sculptures and creation of the sculpture park in Mellon Park, as well as the first-ever public art program in Bakery Square, nearby—all of which he has administered.

The tour will begin at Mellon Park (Fifth and Penn side, entrance near the splash park/tennis bubble lot), and end at Bakery Square’s Galley, where tour members can grab some lunch or just hang out for a while and enjoy!

Please join us for this one-of-a-kind tour of TWO of Pittsburgh’s treasured places.
