History of DOORS OPEN

The DOORS OPEN program was founded in 2016 as a non-profit by Bonnie Baxter, a native Pittsburgher.

DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh (DOP)  is “grass-roots” in the truest sense, with Bonnie serving as the full-time Executive Director, responsible for all day-to- day activities necessary to make this event happen.

As for staff, there isn’t any, but DOP has been fortunate to have an event-day contingency of amazing volunteers, and friends along the way to help!

If you see the relevance of our mission, please help to sustain the organization and help keep ticket prices affordable, by making a comfortable financial contribution directly to DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh (501c3 non-profit)
