Book Reading
Saturday, October 1 | 10am – 4pm
Meet local author, Angela D. Moss, as she reads excerpts from her new book The Case of the Counterfeit Painting.
Perfect for lovers of Nancy Drew, Enola Holmes, and Harley James, this engaging middle-grade mystery will take its readers on a tour through the city of Pittsburgh as our heroine attempts to follow her conscience and stop the thief.
The heroine, twelve-year-old Morgan Draca, loves the adventure of traveling.
She expects nothing less (or more) during her trip to Pittsburgh — until she overhears an art thief planning to replace a famous painting with a forgery! Now it’s up to her, in a race against time…
Meet the author:
Angela D. Moss is an author of travel mysteries – ostensibly for middle schoolers, but secretly for everyone. Generally, her fiction is created under the cover of darkness; while there is a bright shiny orb in the sky, you can find her masquerading as a computer scientist in the field of technology. If she isn’t in front of a computer, you may find her on an airplane or cruise ship, in a museum, or even taking in the local sights on a pair of rollerskates. From an early age, Angela discovered she adores travelling, and is now happy to drag her husband, son, and daughter away from the comfort of their home (and two cats) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to gather information for future books.
