YOUR EXPERIENCE

Experience a new exhibition from Pittsburgh artist Ian Brill, featuring two brand new immersive works. Ian creates an interactive, performative and multisensorial environment. He considers the boundaries of becoming (versus being) and our immersive relationship with technology. His installations, performances and writing have been presented internationally at conferences, festivals, museums and galleries. Currently, he teaches at Penn State University.

ABOUT THIS BUILDING

Through an agreement with the Port Authority of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust leases the upper floors of the former Max Azen company building, above the Wood Street subway station, to operate the Wood Street Galleries.

Opened in 1992, the Wood Street Galleries feature two floors of exhibition and performance space, as well as subsidized office space for emerging performing arts organizations throughout Pittsburgh.
