YOUR EXPERIENCE

THIS BUILDING IS CLOSED FOR THE EVENT UNEXPETEDLY. SORRY FOR THE INCOVENIENCE.

See the newly renovated building which will soon serve as the expanded Adult Rehabilitation Center. Old architectural detail is blended with modern spaces where you’ll see preserved fluted structural pillars, the multi-story curved window turret, modern Pittsburgh themed wall murals and multiple common areas. Plus, you’ll see the Salvation Army Store distribution center sorting room and take a moment or two to search for a fun find in the retail shop!

ABOUT THIS BUILDING

Pittsburgh’s South Side was first known as the heart of America’s glassmaking industry – the Ripley Glass Company Factory building still stands here today – before becoming the headquarters for Jones and Laughlin Steel Company and multiple metal foundries and steel mills. Today, The Salvation Army Store, Distribution Center, and newly renovated Adult Rehabilitation Center are located here.
