ABOUT THIS BUILDING
Homestead Masonic Hall Lofts was constructed in 1917 by the Freemasons. One hundred years later, Q Development acquired the building and rehabilitated the mostly vacant building to the Secretary of Interior standards for historic restoration. The building was completed in June, 2020 and now features 20 apartments with a mix of studios, studio lofts, and one-bedroom units. Throughout the building, efforts have been made to retain as much historic character as possible, including original tile and terrazzo floors, original (now decorative) fireplaces, original woodwork and a “fifth floor reading loft.” The pet-friendly building also features on-site parking, indoor bike parking with a tool repair stand, and ceilings up to 18 feet high. Modern features include in-unit laundry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a cell-phone-based entry system.
