Bicycle Heaven Museum & Bike Shop LLC

1800 Preble Avenue | 10 am – 4 pm

YOUR EXPERIENCE

See nearly 6,000 bicycles under one roof and on display in this very unique museum. Bikes include the Pee-wee Herman bike from the movie Pee-wee’s Big Adventure! The Museum also has the Bowden Spacelander, the first fiberglass bike made, and one of the most sought-after bicycles — only 30 or so are to be found, and Bicycle Heaven has 17. Be amazed by the extensive collection of memorabilia and theme bikes that include items from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, sports and bobbleheads, local art work, and many other rare pieces.

ABOUT THIS BUILDING

The building that houses the museum was built in the 1890s-1900s. This large building is part of the large RJ Casey Industrial Park.

Bicycle Heaven Museum was established here in 2011 by Craig and Mindy Morrow. It is the world’s largest bicycle museum and shop, as seen in the New York Times and Associated Press. You can get your bike fixed, tuned up, or trade it in for a newer (or older) bicycle here, as well as rent bikes to enjoy as you cycle around Pittsburgh. You may have seen the Bicycle Heaven Museum’s bikes in movies such as: A Beautiful Mind, Super 8, Fathers and Daughters, Fences, and many others.
