ABOUT THIS BUILDING
Eighth & Penn is an assemblage of historic preservation and new construction apartments in the Cultural District.
The existing buildings on Penn Avenue have been restored to the Secretary of Interior’s standards for historic restoration while the former parking lots immediately east and north of the buildings are home to new construction that melds the old with the new.
Collectively Eighth & Penn will feature 136 apartments, ranging from studios to a 3 bedroom, two-story luxury apartment located on the second and third floors.
Eighth & Penn also features 12,000 square feet of restaurants and retail, including The Eagle restaurant’s only Pennsylvania location (opening this Fall/Winter).
Eighth & Penn features many unique elements, including a Sky Lounge and ~6,000 sf rooftop deck, a two story LED light art installation, and a grand pedestrian passageway that will thematically connect Eighth Street to Katz Plaza.
