SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 – Doors Open Pittsburgh 2020
Tickets go on-sale September 7, 2020
COVID-19 has certainly put the kibosh on life as we all know it. But that’s no reason we can’t all come together – while social distancing – to celebrate our architecture, heritage and see some really cool stuff in October during the 5th annual Doors Open Pittsburgh event!
The event lends itself to “social distancing” as you walk from one building to another, in the order you choose!
Once inside, social distancing will be maintained, and facial coverings will be required.
A few things will change this year, due to COVID-19, but here’s how you can safely participate in DOP 2020:
Step 1: Preview the Building List to see what buildings you want to explore – there is no limit!
- Buildings will be announced one month in advance of the annual event.
Step 2: Make a list of buildings you want to visit, and be sure to share with friends/family.
Step 3: Buy your General Event ticket.
- This is your “golden ticket” as it will provide you admittance into any participating building(s) you want to visit during the event. Available online here one month in advance of the event.
Step 4: Make sure you bring a facial covering. Admittance will be denied to anyone not wearing a facial covering.
Step 5: Present your General Event ticket at each building you choose to visit.
Step 6: You can visit the buildings you want, in the order that you want.
Step 7: No advance reservation required.
Step 8: Once inside, you will have behind-the-scenes access, some unique experience, or just the opportunity to explore, either through a self-guided or semi-guided tour!
Be sure to check the availability of the buildings you want to visit. Check this website regularly for all up-to-date information.
