Tour Host: DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh volunteer, Caren Ponty is a recent transplant to Pittsburgh and instantly discovered and fell in love with the murals. After a decade working on social issues for NYC and establishing a first-time home buyer program in New England that over 18,000 people to date have attended, she founded her own consulting firm and was instrumental in securing over $30 Million in funding for clients. About 8 years ago, she shifted her focus to cultural activities. The mural tours combine her knowledge of community building with her passion of visual arts.
