POSTPONED — Rocking the ‘Burgh: Pittsburgh Music Scene – Saturday, March 21 (9:00am—1:15pm)

Pittsburgh’s music scene has deep roots dating back to 1789, when British chorister, Edward Tyler, came to Pittsburgh to teach sacred vocal music, leading a choir at McCullough’s Tavern. Traveling musicians and actors entertained Pittsburghers at taverns.  Today, Pittsburgh offers some of the best music venues in the country.

DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh has your front-row ticket to get inside and experience some of the hottest venues, and uncover the mystique of this industry, as told by those in the Pittsburgh music scene today!

Bus transportation is provided for this tour. Tickets on sale 3/2 at 9 am, through 3/19 at 9am.

Tour has been curated by Bonnie Baxter, DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh’s Founder/Executive Director.
