Built in 1927 as the Loew’s Penn movie theater and completely renovated in 1971, Heinz Hall is the cornerstone of the Cultural District and has helped spur the continuing economic and cultural revitalization of downtown Pittsburgh. With an international reputation for beauty and excellence as a concert hall and showplace, the 2,675-seat hall is home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and hosts a variety of programming throughout the year.
During your visit you will be able to tell your friends that you performed on the Heinz Hall stage! You will be able to try out an instrument, or your voice from a stage that has hosted the likes of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Tony Bennett, Yo Yo Ma and even Boy George.
