Housed within the City-County Building, visitors will experience in the historic City Council Chamber room, with inlaid walnut that creates the Great Seal of Pittsburgh along the walls, while an ornate ceiling details the history of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods and past Mayors.
Visitors will hear anecdotal stories of Pittsburgh’s history, past Mayors and City government. Also, be sure to explore the VAULT adjacent to Council Chambers and the Mayor’s Office while you are here! You can find individual listings for those two sites on this website.
