The 2,800-seat theater is home to Pittsburgh Cutlural Trust presentations including PNC Broadway Across America, Pittsburgh Dance Council, CD Live, Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater, Cohen & Grigsby, Trust Presents, and First Night Pittsburgh. The Trust also provides priority programming dates on the Benedum Stage to Cultural District resident companies including Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and the Pittsburgh Opera.
Visitors can enjoy the grandeur of the theater’s complete historic restoration which has placed the Benedum Center on the National Registry of Historic Places. Highlights include the “forever” mirrors on the main lobby’s grand staircases, marble walls, plaster cast and fresco-painted wall accents and the majestic, crystal chandelier in the auditorium.
